The Next Chapter: The Motherhood Chronicles, Vol. 1 Part 2: Mother
When I released The Motherhood Chronicles, Vol 1 Part 1: When The Woman Met The Mother, it was about the beginning—the test, the pause, the breath held before everything changed.
But motherhood isn’t just a beginning. It’s a series of chapters. Some tender, some raw, some filled with laughter, and others lined with tears.
And that’s where part 2 begins….Mother
Why I keep writing
Motherhood is a story too big for one page, too sacred for one snapshot. Every chapter deserves to be remembered, because every chapter is a piece of who we are and who we’re becoming.
When I wrote this new poem, I was thinking about the ways motherhood keeps unfolding—You are the soft place. The steady arms. The heartbeat of your home. But sometimes—
you forget how strong you are. You doubt yourself. You wonder if anyone really sees the depth of what you carry. This poem was written for that part of you. The part still holding everything together… even when you feel like you're falling apart.
Why ongoing storytelling matters
Legacy isn’t built in a single moment—it’s built in many. That’s why I believe in writing down motherhood as it unfolds.
Because one day, these chapters will be the story your children return to when they want to remember you.
Tips for capturing your “next chapter”
Notice the small things. Write down one detail from this week that only you would remember.
Don’t wait for milestones. Everyday moments are milestones, too.
Let your heart speak. Your words don’t have to be perfect—they just have to be honest.
The poem is live
